The client

Pickit is a logistics start-up focused on e-commerce solutions that add value to all kinds of digital businessess.

We were brought on board early to help shape their core strategic teams and to give their hiring process a sustainable approach from the get-go.

The context

Our first experience working with Pickit was to complete their sales team. The results were so positive with this initial approach that we were asked to help them build their marketing team from scratch.

The challenge

Time was our biggest constraint. Starting with a Sr. designer we were tasked with putting together a functioning team in under 8 weeks.

We had to be quick in planning, selecting, interviewing, and preparing candidates for their potential roles. Our main concern here was not to neglect cultural fit between candidates and Pickit, a fast-paced start-up environment where versatilily and adaptability to change are key to succeed.

Keeping dialogue transparent and consistent between client and candidates was one of our biggest wins on this project: we worked from day 1 to create and nurture a healthy relationship for both parties.

Another key criteria for the hiring process was the organization’s strategic roadmap in that context. There were several stakeholders to be kept in the loop, and constantly aligning expectations and priorities with the client’s HR team helped us make sure that we were building a business unit that could organically grow alongside Pickit as an industry leader.

The results

Working with Pickit was a big milestone for Wolib as an organization. Collaborating with them helped us validate our ability to adapt to new industries and contexts; after an aligning and discovery stage we developed an understanding of their business model and what makes their culture tick.

That understanding meant that we could now dive deep into Pickit’s world and find the ideal people for each role. We developed an original methodology that enabled us to diagnose how different personalities would interact with the company’s context and how they could relate and adapt to Pickit.

Finally, our experience with Pickit taught us that we’re not satisfied with being just a recruiting agency. It helped us realize our true potential as strategic partners; adding our expertise to our clients’ we can work as a bigger team, bringing clarity to key issues and creating solutions to solve any obstacle in our path.
